We can supply and install many different movable wall and sliding folding systems, however, to make your life easier, we have picked two most popular walls that have graced, many an educational establishment all across the UK.
Movable Walls, Folding Partitions & Movable Room Dividers
These are suspended from a head track and comprise of single panels which can be moved out of a stacking (parking) bay to form the desired acoustic room division.
They can be stacked (or parked) in a variety of ways depending on your room layout and space available.
Movable walls offer higher acoustic sound attenuation levels and have many different configurations depending on and to suit your requirements.

Sliding Folding Partitions
This system brings you a versatile solution where structural support from above is not available.
The system bears its weight directly on to a low-profile floor track, screw fixed to the floor.
Panels are permanently hinged together allowing the system to fold backwards and forwards in a zig-zag fashion.
Stacking (parking) is either to one side (Single Wing), or to either side ) Bi-Parting
The lead panel acts as a pass door depending on configuration, in the case of the Bi-Parting systems the middle panel acts as a pass door.

Although low profile and not a trip hazard, some see a floor track as unsightly running through a floor finish.

Need structural soffit above
A structural soffit is essentially the structure the lives above the ceiling that we will need to fix into – click on image for a larger view.
More expensive than the MonoFold
The MonoWall Movable Wall Systems are of a higher specification than that of the MonoFold Sliding Folding systems, they also have more internal components.

No need for structural soffit above
A structural soffit is not required as the floor track is load bearing. The head track is simply screw-fixed to the opening providing a guide for the system to run along and to stop any lateral (side-ways) movement.
Less costly option
Due to the MonoFold being a less complicated system over the MonoWall it is less expensive.
Ideal for smaller openings
These systems are perfect for smaller openings, say up to 5M in width and up to 2.4M high. However, they can of course be made larger to fit you requirements if there is no structural soffit.

MonoServ PPM Service and Maintenance Packages
Movable Walls, Sliding Folding systems are designed and engineered to a high standard and given the right regular service and maintenance schedule, they will last for many years.
Monowa highly recommend that a thorough service is carried out every 12 months depending on the daily usage to fulfil your PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) programmes. A regular service can save you money in the long term as this could highlight any potential costly repairs before they become a serious problem.
We are not restricted to just Monowa products, our engineers are qualified to work on all manufacturers movable walls which makes using our MonoServ packages very advantageous where maintenance budgets are concerned.
Nor are we restricted by location, offering a nationwide service. Whether you are in Lands’ End or John O’Groats we can assist.
Parts are no issue either, supplying not only our own but the other leading manufacturers and suppliers of Movable Walls and Sliding Folding systems.
All of our MonoServe packages exceed the SFG20 industry standard, by the Building Engineering Services Association (BESA), giving you peace of mind that you will be fully compliant in the respect of this element of your PPM program.
